Our inspirations are the legends, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Bill Haley, the list goes on.....
Sonny Ray (singer, guitar/piano) sounds like Elvis and plays piano like Jerry lee Lewis
James Taylor (lead guitar) plays like Scotty Moore
Graham Grant is one of the best slap bass plays around backing Carl Perkins when he toured the UK and
Martin Rands is the drummer holding it all together
We are THE SONNY RAY BAND
Our first CD 'On The Road' covers artists such as Elvis, Jerry Lee, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash to name a few.
Our second CD is nearly completed and will be uploaded shortly
If you want to see a great band, join our fanmail and we will keep you posted of gigs.
We are available for weddings, parties and no venue is to small.
We will provide music for the entire event including our breaks.
